In honour of Sir Winston

Named in honour of Sir Winston, who considered La Mamounia to be one of the most beautiful places in the world - spending his winters here with his beloved wife, Clementine - the Churchill Bar is a Marrakech institution.

Today, it has been transformed into a luxurious Pullman carriage in honour of the hotel's railway past. It offers a haven of smoky oak with sumptuously back-lit walls, in which the materials and lighting combine to create an intimate and stylish space.

In its centre, a superb, black marble counter, interspersed with translucent blocks of vibrant green lights by designer Patrick Jouin, welcomes guests to the bar.

The result is a timeless atmosphere, beautifully incorporating contemporary touches, in which to savour the finest of champagnes and spirits.

An experience enhanced by the exceptional 

A visit to the Churchill is like no other. From late afternoon to the early hours of the morning, the Churchill offers a menu featuring a selection of exceptional champagnes, wines and spirits. To be enjoyed with sour cream and blinis, smoked salmon from Iceland, or an exclusive selection of caviars by Kaviari - Oscietra, Kristal and Beluga make for the most sophisticated of snacks. 

Lovers of mixology will appreciate the superb choice on offer, from champagne cocktails to house creations that change with the passing seasons. Our top tip: be sure to read the Winston Churchill quotes on the menu that were the inspiration behind each and every one of them...

Open every day:

  • From 5.30 pm to 1 am 

Elegant attire is required in all our restaurants and bars.

Luxury leather sandals are allowed, but plastic sandals and flip-flops are forbidden for men and women. After 6:00 PM, even smart city shorts and bermudas are not permitted. However, children under the age of 12 are allowed to wear city shorts and/or bermudas.

Moreover, backpacks and large bags must be deposited at the Ksar Gate cloakroom.
