Burgundy wines and classical music: come and experience the exceptional on 25 and 26 April 2025
Published on 6 February 2025
For the first time, La Mamounia is hosting an event that promises to be as unique as it is unforgettable. It will see the magical coming together of gastronomy, classical music and the great wines of Burgundy, an alchemy to be experienced over the course of a once-in-a-lifetime weekend.
Under the spring skies of Marrakesh, renowned chefs and talented performers will join forces to offer our guests an opportunity to share and discover the treasures of Burgundy's vineyards.
The programme combines wine tastings, concerts featuring the music of Mozart, Beethoven, Schumann, Brahms, Schubert and Gershwin, and fine dining: a myriad of enchanting and exclusive moments to savour.

Programme details
Friday 25 April 2025
- 5pm - 6pm: Burgundy wine tasting on the Moroccan Patio
- 6.15pm - 7.30pm: Classical music concert on the terrace of Le Marocain restaurant
- 7.30pm - 8.30pm: Cocktails on the terrace of Le Bar Majorelle
- Champagne Taittinger - Cuvée Centenaire Mamounia
- 8.30pm: Dinner in the gardens, combining a Moroccan menu with Burgundy Grands Crus
A ‘Paulée’* will be organised during this dinner, with each guest able to share the wine they have either brought with them or purchased on the premises (one bottle per person). Burgundy Grands Crus will be on sale at La Mamounia for the occasion.
During the course of the dinner, the winegrowers will also present their finest bottles for everyone at the table to enjoy.
* The ‘paulée’ is the last scoop of grapes poured into the press, and is the traditional banquet dinner served at the end of the harvest. It is a true moment of sharing, characterised by warmth and conviviality.
