Reopening of the restaurant ‘L'Italien by Simone Zanoni’

We were delighted to announce in April that chef Simone Zanoni is now at the helm of our charming trattoria! This collaboration, which comes into effect on 1 September 2025, marks the reopening of the restaurant after its summer closure. The break has allowed us to further enhance the surroundings with a freshening up of the décor.
Introduced to the delights of Italian cuisine at an early age through his family ties, Simone Zanoni has had a remarkable career, working in Michelin-starred restaurants such as those of London chef Gordon Ramsay, as well as Le George, one of the restaurants of the renowned Four Seasons George V Hotel in Paris.
The dishes he has created for La Mamounia are the promise of delectable flavours redolent of all the charm of southern Italy. Accompanied by a superb selection of cocktails to begin the experience with an aperitivo in true Italian style, Simone Zanoni has conjured up classic dishes reimagined with masterful audacity and creative refinement. The launch menu features wood-fired octopus carpaccio, minestrone, pizza with Parma ham or truffles, ravioli with three ricottas infused with lemon and fresh mint, saffron risotto, aubergine Parmigiana and whole baked sea bass, to name but a few.
