‘Un Sabato Italiano’: dolce e deliciozo, a new experience to savour at L'Italien par Jean-Georges

Published on 29 may 2024

Every Saturday from 12.30pm to 3pm, the bright and cheery Roman trattoria of L'Italien par Jean-Georges invites you to discover a new way of getting together: a delightful ‘Sabato Italiano’. This is a menu designed to be enjoyed by a group of diners, taking all the time in the world to savour each and every speciality.

The pleasure of sweet idleness associated with the weekend, of that nonchalant and oh so stylish dolce vita that is so typically Roman, Sabato Italiano is emblematic of an art of living that is as refined as it is laid-back. At La Mamounia, we interpret it in a ‘family style’ menu served in four courses, in the great tradition of the Italian meal: a starter with a choice of several light and fresh options, pizza & pasta or a wonderfully simple risotto, a meat, fish or vegetarian dish, superbly rounded off with a mouthwatering dessert... Each course expertly blends different notes and flavours into delicious combinations that are even better when shared!

Menu served on Saturday from 12.30 to 3pm for a minimum of two people and priced at 1400 MAD per person including a Spritz or mocktail.

The "Sabato Italiano" remains closed during summer and periods of low activity.
