Festive, gourmet menus to celebrate the year's end
Published on 4 December 2024
Since 2 December 2024, La Mamounia has been rolling out irresistible gourmet creations for an end of year that is as delectable as it is bursting with flavour.
Festive menus are available in our L'Italien by Jean-Georges and Le Marocain restaurants, as well as in Le Bar Majorelle and for afternoon tea in the Salon de Thé by Pierre Hermé.
L'Italien by Jean Georges invites you to sample its menu, which includes porcini mushrooms from the Ifrane Valley, white truffles, homemade tagliolini and matured fillet of beef served with an exquisite black truffle pomme purée.
The chef of our delightful trattoria has also devised a special ‘Christmas Market’ menu. Simple and light, it can be enjoyed from 14 to 24 December 2024, and includes a poached egg on an aubergine mousse, roast turkey fragrant with rosemary, and an Infiniment Citron yule log.
Menu at 380 MAD per person, excluding drinks, served at lunchtime only.
Le Marocain showcases wonderful traditional dishes such as a foie gras and duck confit take on Morocco’s renowned pastilla dish, an ancestral recipe known as a ‘tride’ on which lobster and truffle slivers are served on a bed of wafer-thin pastry, accompanied by a scallop and truffle feuilleté punctuated by delicate notes of argan oil, a steam-cooked fillet of turbot subtly flavoured with preserved lemon and a harissa emulsion, and chicken stuffed with vermicelli and dried fruit.
Le Bar Majorelle plays to the great classics with its duck foie gras, scallop carpaccio with black truffle, capon fondant, lobster with Madagascar vanilla, and a sumptuous savoury version of French toast featuring caviar, creamy burrata and lemon purée.

Finally, the Festive Afternoon Tea brings a touch of refinement to those balmy winter afternoons, when the sublime setting of the Salon de Thé by Pierre Hermé turns into an enchanted interlude away from it all. Indulge in an exceptional afternoon tea complete with sweet and savoury delicacies, including patisseries by Pierre Hermé, festive finger sandwiches and, of course, those all-important Champagne bubbles.
